Healing Grief
24 October 2023 - 10:57
Don’t bottle things up. There’s no shame in showing feelings; letting it out paves the way for new beginnings. Crying is a healing peak. If you are missing somebody who has passed from this world, you can still speak to them. They don’t mind you know. Imagine their Angel wings around you. Remember their love for you.
What are you grieving for today?
The loss of anyone or anything that you miss in your life?
- Now visualise where the grief is in your body. If you don’t know, have a guess.
- Give it a colour and a form and try tapping on that. There really is no better medium for grief than EFT.
- Remember it is appropriate for you to grieve. When emotions are stuck in the body they manifest, which could turn into dis-ease.
- If the emotion is too strong for you to deal with, imagine taking it from your body and putting it in a box. Lock the box and give the key to your angel.
Is there anything you can feel grateful for in your loss? Smile and remember it with happiness. Touch your heart and breathe in gratitude. In for 6; out for 6. Keep going. You’ve got this.
Crystals may help you by conducting your energy levels back to a state of flow. As a natural form, they harness the energies of the sun, moon and oceans. They carry electrical currents of both ions and electrons and they vibrate at the same level as we do. When held they interact with our body’s chakras in the same way as essential oils and aromatherapy. Everything is connected. Use any medium that suits you.
‘When you have lost a loved one, or have experienced any form of loss, it is so hard to focus on anything. You have to try and see clearly which aspects of your loss are most difficult for you in terms of emotional well-being. If you do not acknowledge your emotional state, everything else in your life will be far more difficult to deal with. Address this aspect of your loss and you will be helping yourself immeasurably. Take the first small step and give yourself a reference point that you can use to measure your journey towards peace and beyond.’
